20/20 Wand and 20/20 Focus are way to go.

Staves usually cannot compare for Elementalists, except Earth builds with many enchantments which might make 20% longer enchantments on a staff worthwhile.

For maximum effect and for a rather cheap price, you can get 20/20 Foci from Collectors all over Tyria and Cantha. Elona has the not so sexy 15^50 mod caster weapon/foci collectors.

In Vasburg Armory and Leviathan Pits you can craft 20/20 wands for 5k+materials.

Edit: Elona has a nice wand for Fire Elementalists though. Hajkor's Flame can easily be wurm-farmed outside the Remains of Sahlaja and is a 20/20 Fire Wand.

ah recharge, that's what got changed. i remember something of those got changed but didn't remember which.

Meteor Shower cast in a bit more than 1 second. Glyph of Sacrifice makes it cast instantly. Instantly is a bit quicker than over 1 second.

Na it isn't instant, blackout and gale *have* disrupted it before, I know that for sure.

Glyph of Essence is instant, but Sacrifice has some penalty, wiki says 1/4 second (i'd say 1/16..). Stretch your casting bar fully and then cast something under Glyph, it will have an activation time. Also, you stop running to cast so it isn't instant.

Although I'm a little confused by this debate on whether 1/4 cast time can be achieved, I kinda always thought it did and all the testimonies here point to it being true...but anyways, just to add, I have 2 × HCT on my Earth Staff and I still get 3/4 second cast Dragon Stomps. They're sweet - like a really leet Cry of Frustration.

OK this thread is a bit old but I just got into playing a caster. You can get 20/20 staves crafted in Kaineng Center for 5k and minimal materials, then add a wrap and 20 HCT staff head. Good stuff!
